After a foggy morning and a delayed race start, seven members raced down on the Tideway yesterday in the Pairs Head of the River. The only ‘short’ Tideway head, raced from the University post at Chiswick to the end of the wall at Harrods. Kate Cawley and Jen Titterington raced in the WMasB 2x. Setting

Today was the turn of the Scullers Head down on the Tideway in London. Raced over 6.8km, six members of Newark RC travelled down for the first major Tideway Head. Jen Titterington continued her successful run post Bled, winning the Women’s Masters A/B Pennant. Kate Cawley finished 3rd in the Women’s Lightweight Masters Handicap event.

A massive congratulations to our members who took on the great ouse marathon last weekend. A masters quad of Lindsey, Kate D, Janet and Jo S raced the 22k upstream along the River Ouse. It looked a fantastic day, well done all! 🔴🔵 Up the Ark 🔵🔴
