We had 19 members travel out to Italy this weekend to take part in the best single sculls race on the world circuit.
The 11km out and back race attracted 720 entries from all over the world, including Olympic and World Champions.
Newarks stand out performances came from Jen Titterington, who won the Women’s Masters A event. Graham Price who won bronze in the Masters G event. Elena Taylor came 4th in the Women’s U19 event and Harry Woodman snuck into the top 100 finishers, placing 99th over all.
It was fantastic to see the club and the stripes so well represented on the Po this weekend. Well done and thank you everyone.
